WNIHL Finals Set to Bring Exciting Weekend of Hockey

The EIHA are delighted to confirm that the 2023 WNIHL Finals will be taking place on the weekend of May 27th, 28th and 29th at iceSheffield.
The WNIHL Finals weekend will see the top sides in the country battle it for four championships, with winners crowned across our Elite, Division 1, Division 2 and Under 16 competitions.
Faye Andrews, WNIHL Lead, said: “I’m really excited to confirm the details for this year’s WNIHL Finals in Sheffield.
“It is set to be another busy and action-packed event, with 13 games taking place across three days, as this year’s top teams from each division fight it out for their respective championships.
“These are the best teams and best players in the country who will be on show, with a number of Great Britain Under 16s, Under 18s and Senior players all set to play a part in the weekend.
“It’s fantastic that we have this platform to showcase women’s hockey in England and hopefully we’ll have a big crowd in to cheer on the teams in their quest for silverware.
“This year’s finals will be the culmination of another fantastic year of WNIHL action, and an opportunity to showcase and celebrate the amazing talent and skill on show in this country.
“We can’t wait to see you all in Sheffield!”
The schedule for the weekend is as follows:
All senior games will be 3×20-minute periods, whilst the Under 16 games will be 3×15-minute periods.
There will be an entry fee of £5 for a weekend wristband (all games) for spectators (excluding players and team staff), with tickets available in advance and at the door.
Tickets will be available to purchase from TicketCo soon.
We can also confirm that every game will available to watch live online, priced at £5 for a weekend pass (all games).
