The Planet Ice NIHL National Division continues this weekend, as several teams look to further build momentum in the early weeks of the season.

Table-toppers Leeds Knights travel to fourth-placed MK Lightning on Saturday as they look to maintain their unbeaten start. The Knights then host the reverse fixture the following day.

Peterborough Phantoms host Telford Tigers, who currently sit second in the league table following an impressive start to the season.

The Phantoms, meanwhile, will be hoping to improve on a record of one win and three losses from their opening four matches. Following Saturday’s home game, the Phantoms then travel to Raiders Ice Hockey.

Elsewhere, Bristol Pitbulls and Sheffield Steeldogs will face each other twice this weekend, with the Pitbulls hosting on Saturday and the Steeldogs hosting on Sunday.

A difficult opening four matches has left the Pitbulls bottom of the NIHL National Division, while their opponents have picked up four competition points from their opening three league games.

The division’s only other winess side, Solway Sharks, host Bees Ice Hockey on Saturday before making the trip east to take on Hull Seahawks the following day.
