The Planet Ice NIHL National Division action continues this weekend, with a packed fixture list full of intriguing matchups as teams look to progress up their respective ladders.

Leeds Knights remain top of the table following last weekend’s results, despite suffering a first defeat of the season. They’ll be hoping to extend their advantage at the division’s summit when they take on Swindon Wildcats and Sheffield Steeldogs in back-to-back home games this weekend.

Second in the standings, Telford Tigers also play twice this weekend, travelling to Sheffield Steeldogs on Saturday before hosting third-placed Hull Seahawks less than 24 hours later.

For MK Lightning and Bristol Pitbulls, they will lock horns twice this weekend as the Pitbulls travel to Milton Keynes on Saturday before the reverse fixture takes place on Sunday. Points for either side could be hugely impactful at both ends of the table.

Elsewhere, Raiders Ice Hockey play Bees Ice Hockey in the opening fixture of the weekend, with both teams looking for points which would see them put further pressure on the teams above.

Solway Sharks host Raiders IHC on Saturday as they continue to search for their first win of the season. They then take on Bees IHC away from home the following day.
