NIHL: Discipline update

The NIHL discipline panel have issued the following disciplinary updates this week:
Patriks Grigors of Billingham Stars (NIHL Division 1) received a match penalty for throwing equipment in a game against Solway Sharks on 3 December. This has been assessed at Tier 1 in the tariff and receives a 4-game suspension. Grigors receives an extra 2-game suspension for reaching 10 penalty points. The team were notified of the suspension Tuesday afternoon.
Edward Stedman of Invicta Mustangs (NIHL Division 2) received a match penalty for checking to the head in a game against Peterborough Phantoms NIHL 2 on 3 December. After a video review it was decided that this was a legal hit, and as such the penalty has been rescinded.
