Following last weekend’s NIHL action, the EIHA’s Department of Player Safety (DOPS) have issued the following sanctions:

Cain Taylor (Kingston Sharks NIHL 2) – 22 game suspension – 20 games for abuse of officials. Multiple use of profane/abusive language towards on & off-ice Officials, resisting an official, refusing to leave the penalty bench & playing surface, physically intimidating the referee. 2 game suspension from 27th November for hitting +10 penalty points threshold
Chris Hogarth (Kingston Sharks NIHL 2) – 2 game suspension from 27th November – Fighting
Brad Watchorn (Oxford City Stars) – 5 game suspension – 2 games for fighting unwilling combatant and 3 games for fighting (third man in)
Dillon Lawrence (Milton Keynes Lightning) – 1 game suspension. Penalty points +5 – Illegal check to the head
Simon Geldart (Billingham Buccaneers) – 4 game suspension – Cross-checking
Lee Haywood (Sheffield Steeldogs) – 4 game suspension. Penalty points +1 – Slew-footing
Rihads Grigors (Whitley Warriors) – 2 game suspension – Leaving the bench during an altercation
