Adam Johnson fundraiser launched

A Nottingham Panthers fundraiser has been launched to raise money for the ‘Love for Hibbing and Hockey Memorial Fund’ – supporting local charitable activities in Hibbing (Adam Johnson’s home town), as chosen by his family.

The EIHA continues to send its heartfelt condolences to Adam’s family and friends as well as the Nottingham Panthers community and those involved in the accident at this sad and difficult time.

If you can, please donate to the fundraiser, in support of the fund established in Adam’s memory.

Remembering Adam Johnson

Nottingham Panthers will come together on Saturday evening to remember Adam Johnson.

Supporters of all clubs and the general public are invited to attend the Motorpoint Arena from 5:30pm to pay tribute to Adam, with the last entry into the arena at 9pm.

Entrance will be via Bolero Square only. Fans are invited to come onto the ice at the Motorpoint Arena, which will be carpeted, to sign the Books of Condolence.

Arrangements have been made so that anyone with accessibility needs will be able to access the ice, including wheelchair users.

Some blocks will be open for supporters who just want to watch or be in the arena, or have somewhere to sit and be with other fans before or after going on the ice.

Visitors can also take a look at the beautiful floral tributes and items left outside the Motorpoint Arena. Please add any floral tributes on Saturday to the hundreds in Bolero Square.

A two-minute silence will take place at 8:20pm in memory of Adam. This will be a quiet night of reflection but it will also be a time to be together and a chance for people to talk to each other.

If you have been affected by the game last weekend and the loss of Adam – and you feel that you may need some additional help and support – local mental health charities will be in the Motorpoint Arena foyer for those that want to have a conversation.

The following help and support is also available for those who may need it:
