There are plenty of intriguing fixtures to look out for across the Planet Ice NIHL National Division and below this weekend!

Leeds Knights head into Saturday with a four-point cushion at the top of the National Division. However, without a fixture this week, it provides an opportunity for the teams below them to close the gap.

Second-placed MK Lightning host fourth-placed Peterborough Phantoms on Saturday night, in what is sure to be one of the games of the weekend.

Lightning follow this up with a trip to Bees IHC, who haven’t been beaten on home soil yet this month.

Below them, Hull Seahawks will host Sheffield Steeldogs on Sunday evening, in what is one of two away games for the Steeldogs over the weekend – the first of which sees them travel to Solway Sharks on Saturday.

The Sharks secured just their second four-point weekend of the season last time out, and they will look to repeat their success again when they visit the Phantoms the following evening.

On Saturday, Telford Tigers visit a Bristol Pitbulls side searching for form after a difficult run of late. The Pitbulls sit bottom of the division and have won just two of their opening 14 matches.

The two teams will then meet again the following day at Telford Ice Rink.

Elsewhere, Swindon Wildcats visit Raiders IHC on Sunday night, with a win potentially enough to see them end the weekend fifth in the standings.
