December 14, 2022

The NIHL discipline panel have provided the following suspension update:

In a game against Bristol Pitbulls on 4 December, James Archer of Hull Seahawks (NIHL National) received two match penalties for fighting. Both were assessed at Tier 1 in the tariff and each receive a 2 game suspension (4 games total). As a result of penalty points also gained through two game misconduct penalties for resisting an official and a game misconduct for leaving the bench, Archer meets the following penalty point thresholds:

  • 10 penalty points, receiving a 2 game suspension.
  • 15 penalty points, receiving a 3 game suspension.
  • 20 penalty points, receiving a 4 game suspension.

Archer therefore receives a 4 game suspension as a result of match penalties, plus an additional 9 games for reaching penalty point thresholds, totalling a 13 game suspension.
