Following the latest weekend of NIHL action, the EIHA’s Department of Player Safety (DOPS) have issued the following sanctions:

• Rhys Edwards (Widnes Wild) – 2 game suspension – Fighting unwilling combatant.
• Patriks Grigors (Billingham Stars) – 12 game suspension – Recklessly endangering the opponent. Opponents’ jersey number clearly visible. Thrown violently into the boards, causing injury.
• Owen Sobchak (Bristol Pitbulls) – 2 game suspension – Slew-footing.
• Kieran Wrench (Billingham Buccaneers) – 2 game suspension from 18th September. Penalty Points +5 – Unsportsmanlike Conduct.
