ih4gElite League leaders Bracknell Queen Bees opened a four point gap at the top following a comfortable 5-0 home win over Swindon Topcats.  There were five different goalscorers for the QBs, who move to 9-1-1 in the league this season.

The scoring was also shared around in the Premier League as Streatham Storm kept up the pressure on Chelmsford Cobras with a 7-2 win at Slough Phantoms.  Storm fired in 72 shots on Slough goalie Michaela Walker.

Tamara Donaghue stopped 25 shots as Coventry Phoenix won 6-0 at Sheffield Shadows in the D1 North Cup.  Jennifer Adams and Preston Gennoe lead the scoring with 1+2 each.

A Julie Hammond hat-trick and a six point night from Stephanie Box (1+5) headed the charts for Billingham Wildcats in a 9-0 home win over Solway Sharks, also in D1 North Cup.

Cardiff Comets climbed to the top of Division 1 South after a 3-1 road success at Peterborough Penguins.  Olivia Taylor’s goal just 17 seconds into the game set them on their way.

The D1 South Cup is still up for grabs – Bracknell FireBees edged ahead of Cardiff with 4-2 win at Oxford City Midnight Stars.  Sam Phillips bagged a hat-trick for the FBs who now have to wait until April 9 for the final group game between Cardiff and Oxford to decide the trophy.

Grace Garbett headed Sheffield Shadows u16 girls scoring with 3+0 as they won 7-0 at Solway Scotland girls.  Both Sheffield and Kingston are neck and neck at the top of U16 North, and the sides play each other three more times this season.

Haringey Girls took the points away from Swindon Top Kittens, the 4-1 win featuring Holly Downing’s double strike.  Haringey move into second in U16 South behind champions Bracknell Ice Bees with six games remaining across the league.
