The Women’s National Ice Hockey League (WNIHL) are pleased to begin their fixture release with the WNIHL Elite schedule for 2019/20.

Bracknell Queen Bees will look to defend eight successive championships and two seasons without defeat against five opponents including newly-promoted Nottingham Vipers.

QBs open their campaign with two road games at Streatham and Solihull before their home opener on October 26 versus the league newcomers from Nottingham.

The Vipers get their inaugural Elite season underway on October 6 at Guildford, before hosting the Lightning in their first home game on October 20.

Solihull Vixens and Streatham Storm have the honour of getting the season going on October 5.

WNIHL League Manager Sally Taylor said: “The new season is just around the corner and the publication of the fixtures brings it even closer.

“The WNIHL Elite will once again feature some of the very best players in the country and the standard is sure to be high once again.

“Everyone will be looking to chase Bracknell, as they have done for eight seasons now, while we welcome Nottingham Vipers to the Elite for the first time.

“I’m looking forward to the new season and hope all teams, players and supporters feel the same way.”
