We’ve reached week seven in our series to test your ice hockey rules knowledge.

In association with Ice Hockey UK Referee Section, here are three more scenarios and, using your knowledge of IIHF Rulebook, Casebook and EIHA in house rules, ‘You Make The Call’.

This week the topics feature the players with extra responsibility – captains and alternates.  See how you do.

Question 1:
How many Alternate Captains can a team have?

Question 2:
Can a captain argue a penalty call?

Question 3:
If both the captain and an alternate are on the ice at the same time who is allowed to talk to the referee?

We’ll have the answers and rule references after the weekend.  Why not leave your answers on our Facebook page or message us on Twitter.
