There’s another bumper programme of NIHL action this coming weekend, a total of 36 games over the four divisions.
Last night, Swindon Wildcats booked their place in the Autumn Cup Final, edging out Peterborough Phantoms on penalty shots at Bretton. The Cats will face either Basingstoke Bison or Hull Pirates in the Cup Final.
National Cup quarter finals continue this weekend alongside a busy league programme as the action starts to ramp up in the season’s ‘business end’.
Pro Hockey News (London Bureau) reporter David Carr featured one of the NIHL’s newest clubs, playing in one of the oldest rinks in his latest ‘feature’ article.

Moving to the weekend previews, Carr’s PHN stablemate Michael Black (Lancashire office) caught up with Solway Sharks’ Ross Murray and Sutton Sting’s James Goodman in his look ahead to the action in the North.

The yellow laptop of 482 Days is busier than ever processing the entries to the popular prediction competition (see #piamg on Twitter) which now covers all games North & South. How many goals do you think will be scored across the NIHL programme?
The South previews are as in-depth as ever, with Nancy Carpenter covering Britton D1 South while Don McDermott and Laurence Thorn run the rule over Wilkinson D2 South (and have their own prediction competition!) Read all about the South leagues below.
