NIHL: action hots up as leagues head for midseason

December 4, 2017

The National Ice Hockey League (NIHL) season is heading for the midpoint later this month and action in all four divisions is hotting up.

Our columnists at Pro Hockey News are back with their traditional weekend review to cover all the bases in the EIHA’s top senior leagues.

Residing in PHN’s London office (penthouse corner suite, naturally) Dave Carr published his sideways glance at life in NIHL South, with in-depth reviews of S1 action plus keeping tabs on fellow journo 482 Days.

Some 230 miles north, Michael Black in the PHN North West outpost covered all of the games in North 1 & 2 with Sheffield Steeldogs leading the way in Moralee, with Altrincham top of the pile in Laidler.

The NIHL will also be naming their November Players of the Month tomorrow (Tuesday) with one winner for each of the four divisons.  Details will be online from 10am Tuesday December 5th.
