NEWS: updated disciplinary decisions EPIHL, NIHL, U20

The disciplinary panels of the EPIHL, NIHL and U20 league have handed down further suspensions in recent days, the respective tables have been updated on the Discipline section of the website.

In the EPIHL Telford Tigers’ Rick Plant was suspended for 1 game for kneeing after a Match penalty for kneeing on 27 November.  Milton Keynes Lighting player Bobby Chamberlain was assessed a Match penalty for high sticking in his side’s game with Basingstoke on 2 December.  He has been suspended for one match.  At the end of that same game, MK’s Frantisek Bakrlik and Bison’s Derek Roehl were given Match penalties for fighting after the final hooter.  Each player is suspended for one match.  All players listed have also had five penalty points added to their record.

The NIHL panel have issued a suspension to Streatham’s Steven Fisher following his Match penalty for fighting on 26 November.  Fisher is suspended for two games and has five points added to his record.  Jamie Randall of MK Thunder was given a Match penalty for kneeing in his side’s game on Sunday 4 December.  He has been suspended for three games and has five points added to his record. The NIHL discipline page has also been updated with the decisions involving Whitley Warriors which were announced earlier this week.

Two players have been suspended in the U20 League.  Matthew Tull of Guildford has reached the ten penalty point mark and has been suspended for two games.  Sheffield’s Aiden Johnson received a Match penalty for head butting on 4 December v Whitley.  He has been suspended for three games and has five points added to his record.
