The NIHL section of EIHA discipline has issued three suspensions following Match penalties last weekend.
Basingstoke Bison player Liam Morris was assessed a Match penalty for butt-ending in the third period of his side’s Autumn Cup game with Sheffield Steeldogs on September 15th. He has been suspended for two games and has five penalty points added to his record.
In the same game, Sheffield’s Tim Smith received a Match penalty for fighting. He has also been suspended for two games with five penalty points added to his record.
On September 16th, Swindon Wildcats goalie Renny Marr was given a Match for fighting in the third period of his team’s Autumn Cup clash at Hull Pirates. Marr is suspended for four games with five penalty points added to his record.
