The NIHL disciplinary committee have issued the following suspensions following match penalties picked up last weekend.
Streatham’s Rupert Quiney was assessed a match penalty for fighting in the South 1 Cup game against Invicta on Saturday 28 September. The player is suspended for two games and receives five penalty points. The first game of the suspension was served on Sunday 29 September, he will also miss the game on Saturday 5 October.
Ross Wilkinson of Cardiff Fire also received a match penalty for fighting, this in the NIHL South 2 West game at Swindon on Sunday 29 September. He is suspended for two games and receives five penalty points. The player will miss games on October 5 and 6.
The NIHL North 2 incident featuring Dragons and Telford Tigers 2 remains under review. The EIHA have been made aware that this is no longer the subject of a police investigation, so penalties will now be reviewed under EIHA discipline and the results will be announced in the next week.
