The EIHA National League South League Management Committee (LMC) have reacted to the withdrawal of Wightlink Raiders by rearranging their Division 1 schedule to remove the gaps caused by the Raiders’ absence.

As such the NIHL South Division 1 season will now finish one week earlier than announced.

NIHL Manager Richard Carpenter said: “We have been working for a couple of weeks since the Wightlink Raiders informed us that they were not able to continue.

“I would like to thank all clubs for their patience, understanding and willingness to make this work.  Also our Fixture Secretary Tony Lack has done a huge amount of work for which the clubs and LMC are extremely grateful.”

The key dates in the NIHL South DIvision 1 season are now as follows:

NIHL1 Cup Semi-Finals: stay at w/e of February 25th/26th
NIHL1 Cup Final: now w/e of March 18th/19th
NIHL1 Playoff Quarter Finals: now w/e of March 25th/26th
NIHL1 Playoff Semi-Final: now w/e of April 1st/2nd
NIHL1 Playoff Final: now w/e of April 8th/9th

Major dates in NIHL South Division 2 all remain the same as previously announced:

NIHL2 Cup Finals Weekend: stay at w/e of April 8th/9th
NIHL2 Playoff Semi-Final: stay at w/e of April 15th/16th
NIHL2 Playoff Final: stay at w/e of April 22nd/23rd
