National Ice Hockey League discipline chiefs have issued suspensions following major penalties in last weekend’s action.
In Sunday’s National Cup match between Telford Tigers and Swindon Wildcats, Swindon’s Luc Johnson received a Match penalty for high sticking late in the third period. He is suspended for one game and has five penalty points added to his record.
A separate incident from the first period of this game is currently under review and further details will be published as soon as this is concluded.
Billingham Stars’ Ben Davison picked up a Match penalty for checking to the head during his side’s National Cup game against Blackburn Hawks on Sunday. Davison is suspended for two games and has five penalty points added to his record.
