The Education Programme are delighted to announce a three-part webinar series with Columbus Blue Jackets development goalie coach Jim Corsi.  Jim delivered a workshop for EIHA coaches and goalies to great acclaim last summer, and we are pleased he has agreed to work with us again.

30th April – Static Saves, transition skill to skill and puck handling @ 8:15pm
2nd May – Transition and speed @ 8pm

The first webinar will be aimed at goalies and coaches alike, webinar two and three will be for coaches only.

Technical Director for Netminding Euan King said: “Jim delivered a fantastic seminar in Cardiff last summer and we were in the middle of planning this summer’s events with him before the pandemic hit.

“Jim has kindly offered to still run his sessions as webinars, so we don’t miss out. People who were in Cardiff last summer or who watched Jim’s NHLCA webinars will know his presentations are always full of information and engaging.

“Jim has become a mentor to myself personally over the last 12 months and I am delighted our coaches in the UK will once again get a chance to listen and learn from one the great goalie coaches.

“I know at the moment all our webinars are very goalie-specific, but we will have more news in the coming weeks on webinars aimed at the players with some very special guests presenters. Lockdown is obviously hard for everyone at the moment but it is also a great time for people to expand their knowledge and understanding of the modern game.”

These events will be open to 80 participants and you will have to register for each one individually. Each webinar will be around 40 minutes presentation time and an additional 15 minutes Q&A at the end.

The events are open to all EIHA and SIHA coaches.

An email invite will be sent to you no later than 2 hours before the start of the presentations.
