Great Britain’s final World Championship warm-up game will be beamed back to Ice Sheffield at Conference Weekend as they face Slovakia in Poprad on Saturday at 4pm local time (3pm in the UK).

The game will also be available to watch on a webcast.

GB depart for Slovakia on Thursday on the back of two matches against KHL side Torpedo, as well as international challenge games with Italy and Hungary.

Saturday’s encounter is GB’s final game ahead of their World Championship campaign which gets under way on 11th May against Germany.

GB then face Canada on Sunday 12th May and after a rest day, Great Britain meet Denmark on Tuesday 14th May before facing USA on Wednesday 15th May.

Finland are GB’s opponents on Friday 17th May, while Pete Russell’s side meet hosts Slovakia on Saturday 18th May.

Britain complete their Group A campaign against France on Monday 20th May.

The 25th anniversary of the first Conference tournament coincides with the last time GB played in the top division.  This year’s junior showcase starts on Friday May 3rd with England v Scotland u19 international, followed by the main tournament from 7am Saturday May 4th,
