EIHA discipline chiefs have handed out the following suspensions in NIHL and U20 leagues following major penalties picked up over the weekend of November 11 and 12.
In the NIHL, Jack Standing of Slough Jets was penalised with a Match penalty for checking to the head in his side’s game against Lee Valley Lions on November 11. He is suspended for two games and has five penalty points added to his record.
Also on November 11, Nottingham Lions’ Adam Andrews was assessed a Match for checking to the head at Whitley Warriors. He is suspended for three games with five penalty points added to his record.
On Sunday November 12, Hull Pirates player Jordan Fisher picked up a Match penatly for fighting at the end of the second period of his side’s National Cup match with Peterborough Phantoms. He is suspended for two games with five penalty points added to his record.
NIHL LMC officials are also looking into events at Sunday’s North 1 game between Solihull Barons and Whitley Warriors. No further comment will be made at this time.
In the EIHA U20 league, Kingston Sharks player Mairis Sadinovs picked up 47 PiMs in one incident early in the third period of the game at Sheffield Scimitars, including a Match penalty for abuse of official. The player is suspended for three games and has five points added to his record.
