The EIHA discipline committees for NIHL and U20 have been looking at Match penalties from the weekend of November 24 & 25.

In the NIHL, Hull Pirates forward Bobby Chamberlain was assessed a Match for fighting in the first period of his side’s North Cup game against Sheffield Steeldogs on November 25.  Chamberlain is suspended for four games with five penalty points added to his record.  This takes the player over the ten point threshold, so under the totting up procedure he is suspended for an additional two games meaning a total suspension of six games.  The player will miss games on December 1, 2, 8, 9, 15 and 16.

Altrincham Aces forward Jakub Pavlicek was assessed a Match penalty in the second period of the NIHL North 2 game against Bradford Bulldogs on November 25.  On review by the discipline committee the penalty has been downgraded to a Game Misconduct for throwing the stick.

In the U20 League, Kingston Sharks Owen Milner received a Match penalty for kneeing in the second period of the North division game with Whitley Renegades on November 24.  The player is suspended for one game with five penalty points added to his record.  The player will miss the game on December 15 and cannot feature in any other league until this suspension is served.

As usual a full list of the discipline decisions in NIHL, U20 and Women’s Leagues can be found on the relevant section of the EIHA website.
