The discipline committee has issued the following suspensions following match penalties assessed in NIHL games last weekend.

Hull Pirates’ Bobby Chamberlain received a match for verbal abuse of official in the NIHL National game on Saturday October 5.  He is suspended for four games with five penalty points added to his record.  Chamberlain missed the game on October 6 and will miss future games on October 12, 13 and 19.

Brendan Baird of Bracknell Bees picked up a match for fighting late in the NIHL National game on Sunday October 6.  He is suspended for four games and receives five penalty points.  Baird will miss games on October 13, 19, 20 and 26.

Hull Jets goalie Dean Bowater was given a match for kicking in the NIHL North 2 game on Sunday October 6.  He is suspended for three games and gets five penalty points on his record.  Bowater will miss games on October 12, 19 and 20.

Elliott Murdoch of Cardiff Fire 2 received a match for verbal abuse of official in the NIHL South 2 West game on Sunday October 6.  He is suspended for four games and receives five penalty points.  Murdoch missed one game on October 6 and will miss future games on November 2, 17 and December 1.

James Buckingham, Streatham 2, was given a match for cross checking in the NIHL South 2 East game on Saturday October 5.  He is suspended for two games with five penalty points.  Buckingham will miss games on October 19 and 20.

Also of Streatham 2, Kelvin Dodd was assessed a match for checking to the head in the same game.  He receives the mandatory six game suspension plus five penalty points.  Dodd will miss games on October 19, 20, November 3, 17, December 7 and 14.

Lee Mercer of Haringey Huskies picked up a match for fighting in the NIHL South 2 East game on Saturday October 5.  Mercer is suspended for four games with five penalty points.  He will miss games on October 12, 13, 20 and 26.
