NEWS: Conference stars aiming to be True MVPs thanks to Puck Stop

May 24, 2018

This weekend the players at the EIHA Conference Tournament will be battling for honours in u11, u13, u15 and u17 categories as always.

Once again our friends from Puck Stop will be sponsoring the Most Valuable Player (MVP) prizes at the end-of-tournament awards ceremony.  The best goalie and skater in each age group will receive a voucher to exchange for a stick of their choice.  This year the sticks will be provided by True Hockey, who approached Puck Stop to support the MVP awards.

Richard Day from Puck Stop said: “We are pleased to be sponsoring the All Star MVP, and when True Hockey approached us wanting to be involved it seemed like a good fit.  We’re looking forward to rewarding the #TrueMVPs on Monday evening at the closing ceremony.”

Tournament Director Geoff Hemmerman added: “The All Stars and MVPs are a big part of our closing ceremony and we are extremely grateful for the support of Puck Stop and True Hockey in giving our best young players a helping hand on their career path.”

The 24th Conference Tournament starts on Friday night with the Junior International between England and Scotland which faces off at 8pm.  Admission on Friday night is free for spectators.

Tickets for the tournament are £20 for adults and £10 for children for three days.  Individual day tickets are £10 adults, £5 children.

More information on True Hockey can be found on social media @playtruehockey, online at www.true-hockey.com and of course all True Hockey products can be found in store at Puck Stop.
