The first NHL All Star event for 2018 takes place this Saturday at Sutton’s Lammas Centre, where the JLMC U9 programme returns to the ice.

Players will be drafted into NHL teams and play a series of round robin games before the knockout stages, which will end with one team lifting the JLMC Stanley Cup.

The JLMC have run these NHL AlL Star events successfully for a couple of years and the Lammas rink at 36×18 is perfect for u9 hockey.  Squads are drafted to make the standard as even as possible, with each team having at least four games.

Action gets underway at 1.30pm on Saturday with registration, followed by on ice at 2.30pm for game one.
