JLMC: Okanagan Academy recruitment 18/19

June 15, 2018

The Okanagan Hockey Academy (OHA) is a complete programme that includes education, hockey, off-ice strength and conditioning, mental training, personal and team development. The program operates from the start of September until Mid July each year.

The OHA staff is a team of professionals that are committed to the development of each player. The individual needs of each player are identified by analysing their academics, hockey skills, strength and conditioning and future goals. The individual is then incorporated into a team environment to maximise their development potential.

The 2018/19 season will be the 7th for the Academy. After recently announcing the plans for a trip to Canada, everyone is setting their sights on the new season.

The Academy will have a solid core group with players returning after multiple years in the programme. Ethan Mayoh, Joseph Llewellyn and Ross Thompson return as D men for the Academy. The forwards are bolstered by Reed Sayers, Ian Poukens, Aaron Moody, Jack Goodchild, Jake Williams and Lucas Fernandez Arto.

The Academy are recruiting the final places on their 2018/19 roster.  To apply for admission please contact Paul Kelsall.
