JLMC: Details of 2018 National Finals Confirmed
The Junior Leagues Management Committee can confirm arrangements for the 2018 National Finals. The showcase weekend will bring together teams from across the country to decide the season’s champions at U11, U13, U15 and U18 age groups, following qualification through league play in the North and South.
Competition will run across two days with a compact schedule designed to maximise ice time and maintain a consistent flow of games. Age groups share the ice in blocks, with morning sessions reserved for the younger categories and later slots for the older age groups. Medal presentations will follow immediately after each final to ensure teams and supporters can celebrate together.
Clubs are asked to finalise travel and accommodation as early as possible and ensure team rosters, eligibility and medical information are submitted in line with EIHA requirements. On arrival, managers will receive their final timings, locker room allocations and warm-up notes at the event desk, while officials will meet for a pre-event briefing the evening before the first games.
Live updates will be published via the Junior Leagues section of the EIHA website throughout the weekend, including game scores and brief summaries. Event programmes and venue information will be available on site, and volunteers will be on hand to assist teams and spectators.
The JLMC would like to thank clubs, officials and volunteers for their continued support and looks forward to delivering a memorable National Finals for all involved.
