The English Premier Ice Hockey League (EPIHL or EPL) is the senior league in the EIHA system, and their new season gets underway in early September.

Defending League champions Basingstoke Bison have confirmed four pre-season games in the form of home & home series with Guildford Flames and Swindon Wildcats:

Pavel Mrna has been confirmed as the fifth and final non-EIHA trained player for Sheffield Steeldogs.  The 27-year-old Czech joins from Dukla Jihlava:‘czech-mate’

Manchester Phoenix unveiled two new non-EIHA trained players at a club function in the city on Friday night.  Roman Malinik and Jakub Langhammer will play under Tony Hand this season:

Opposition from the NIHL will provide a pre-season test for Hull Pirates as they confirmed games with Billingham Stars over August bank holiday.  Pirates already had pre-season games with Telford Tigers on their schedule:
