ENTP: Pitchley continues in his England role

June 14, 2018

Geoff Hemmerman, EIHA Director responsible for ENTP, has confirmed that Ben Pitchley will continue as Head Coach of the programme.

Following a review of the initial two year appointment, Hemmerman said he was delighted that coach Pitchley will continue in the role which he has worked so hard at.

“Both Ben and I know this is still very much work in progress and another hard year lies ahead,” said Hemmerman. “Having Ben in place will give stability to the programme and ensure we continue on the journey already started.”

Pitchley added: “I’m really pleased to be able to continue in my role as the Head Coach for the EIHA’s flagship England National Team Programme.

“Two years ago we set out a plan to develop hockey players so that they were better prepared for the transition to GB level hockey. I think we are on the right track, but we now need to start going through the gears with the programme and building the development pathway, as the next Liam Kirk and Kieran Brown is out there somewhere!”

The ENTP will confirm the appointment of its new General Manager tomorrow.
