ENTP: Hopkins steps down from u13 role

January 29, 2018

Mark Hopkins has stepped down from his role as England U13 Manager with immediate effect.

“Hoppo” has been one of the prime movers in the England resurgence over the past two years and his work in recreating the U13 platform for England can not be understated.

When the decision was taken to restart the England U13 team we had a mountain to climb and a very small window of opportunity too. Mark brought a level of energy and enthusiasm along with first class management and organisational skills that ensured the success for the U13 team.

In standing down Hopkins said: “I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the England programme and wish Mark and the team all the very best for the next stage of development.”

Everyone involved with the England programme wishes Mark well and thanks him for his work with us.

Recruitment for a new u13 manager will begin straight away.
