ENTP Head Coach, Ben Pitchley, has raised the standard of guest player attendances this year by bringing in the most capped GB international and EIHL’s top points scorer, Ashley Tait, to assist with the on ice sessions this coming weekend in Deeside.

Ashley made his first team debut, at the tender age of 16, playing for the Nottingham Panthers, alongside such legends as Paul Adey and Terry Kurtenbach.

After playing seven seasons with the Panthers, Ashley went on to Kingston, Sheffield, Coventry and included a spell in Italy with Ritten.  Tait also represented Great Britain at u18 and u20 as well as senior level.

According to Elite Prospects Ashley has played 1562 games, putting up 1411 points since the 1989/90 season.

Pitchley said: “Ashley is the highest profile English player that we have ever had the privilege of being on the ice with the ENTP, and I’d like to thank him for giving up his weekend to help the us develop the next generation of hockey player.”

The 2017/18 England programme begins on Friday night in Deeside and will be there to follow the action on and off the ice.
