The England National Team Programme (ENTP) is delighted to announce the appointment of Sam Daintith to the role of Team Manager for the England U13 Team.
Sam takes over from Mark Hopkins who has recently stepped down from his role with the ENTP and she comes in to the programme just at the right time with the trip to Bratislava taking place at the beginning of next month.
Confirming the appointment England Programme Director Geoff Hemmerman said: “First I must pay a huge vote of thanks to outgoing team manager Mark Hopkins who worked tirelessly to re-establish the U13 programme.
“His enthusiasm, dedication and commitment were all great qualities and he certainly made a huge impact in putting the England U13 team on their current development pathway. Thanks Hoppo!
“Now we welcome Kingston and Northern Conference team manager Sam Daintith who joins us at an opportune time as we complete the arrangements for our trip next month. I know Sam will bring her own energy and style to our programme and I also know that she will quickly make the role her own. Welcome on board Sam,” Mr Hemmerman added.
The England U13 Team was re-introduced to the ENTP in October 2016 and this year the programme has been really well received and with the JLMC U11 Conference Series proving to be another significant development in the EIHA’s elite player development pathway, the future for England U13’s certainly does look bright.
Sam Daintith has already had some involvement with the U11 Conference, Power Of 10 and now England U13 so she is well placed to provide succession and continuity for the players and the team. We wish her well in the role.
