EIHA REC: Masters tournament this weekend in Nottingham

Twelve teams will battle it out this weekend on the Arena pad at Nottingham’s National Ice Centre as they seek to be crowned EIHA Rec Masters champions.

Players with links to famous teams of the Heineken era – Sheffield, Nottingham, Durham, Billingham, Hull and more – will face off over two days in one of EIHA Recreational section’s showpiece events.

The action gets underway at 10.00am on both days with play going on until around 8pm.  There are twelve teams from around the country taking part including the winners for the past two years Cleveland Comets.

Can the Comets ‘three-peat’? If you’re wanting a summer hockey fix with a healthy dose of nostalgia then head to the fabulous NIC this weekend.  Admission is FREE all weekend.

Teams taking part: Cleveland, Durham, Chelmsford, Nottingham, Streatham (2 teams), Widnes, Solihull (2 teams), Solent, Grimsby, Army Select.
