The Goaltending Education programme are happy to announce we will be delivering a GK1 – Introduction to Goaltending course over Zoom on the Wednesday 8th July, starting at 6pm.

To be eligible to attend the course you must:
* Hold a valid EIHA/SIH Level 1 qualification (minimum)
* You must attend the full course (3 hours)

Please note as our normal assessment for the qualification take place during our ice sessions, the final assessment to pass the course will now be written and will be detailed at the end of the course.

Cost of the course is £35 and will only be limited to a maximum of 30 participants.

Technical Director of Netminding Euan King said: “The goalie programme started the lockdown by leading the way with our webinar series for our young athletes, our series with Jim Corsi for the coaches and now we are going to deliver the goalie coaching qualification in a virtual environment.

“This pandemic is the perfect time to reset as a coach and expand your knowledge. You can’t play golf without a green and you can’t play hockey without a goalie. Now is the time to learn how to coach your young athletes when we are finally allowed back onto the ice.

“The S&C program lead by Alex Green have done a great job with their webinar series and I would also like to congratulate him and his team on the quality content they have been able to deliver.”
