Welcome to the EIHA Under 20s Leagues section

The EIHA U20 leagues started in 2015/16 with the aim of bridging the gap between junior and senior hockey.

Our first season saw three divisions – North, Midlands and South – won by Billingham, Sheffield and Guildford respectively.

Representatives from the EIHA u20 leagues were also invited to take part in the Ice Hockey UK U20 Championship against teams from the Scottish Ice Hockey u20 league.

Sheffield qualified automatically, while Billingham defeated Guildford 9-7 in a playoff at EPIHL weekend.

At IHUK Finals, held in Dumfries, Sheffield defeated Solway in the semi final while Billingham were beaten by Fife.  Sheffield then defeated Fife 24 hours later to be inaugural IHUK u20 champions.

This season 16/17 there are two divisions in the EIHA Leagues:

U20s North – Billingham, Whitley, Kingston, Grimsby, Sheffield Scorpions, Blackburn, Deeside.
U20s South – Guildford, Basingstoke, Solihull, Coventry, Nottingham, Sheffield Scimitars, Oxford.
