U19 England v Scotland 2016

Friday 29th April face off 8pm  (free entry) Ice Sheffield sees the curtain raiser to the 2016 Conference finals.

It is always pleasure to welcome our friends from Scotland. This game is now etched into the conference schedule and I’m sure that rivalry on the ice and friendship off it will continue for years to come.

Both England and Scotland announced their respective teams several weeks ago and that has only helped to get everyone excited for what is sure to be a great contest. This fixture has produced many great games and last year was no exception. I am sure that this game will be a close and hard fought game. England came out the victors last year but we will certainly not be taking anything for granted.

Both teams have a talented line up, with many of the players representing GB at U18 and U20 level. In addition to their international achievements, all have developed strongly in their domestic teams with several featuring in the EIHL, EPL and overseas. I would personally like to congratulate all the players on their selections for this game; it is reward and recognition for their efforts over the season.

The England U19 team would like to thank you for your support and we hope that you all have an enjoyable weekend.
