The English Ice Hockey Association has released a statement following publication of proposed rule changes by the EPIHL owners earlier this week.

Last summer the day-to-day running of the EPIHL was passed to the owners of the member clubs.

Following recent events in the League, the owners have made proposals for rule changes to be implemented immediately.

The EIHA was disappointed to read minutes from the January EPIHL meeting in the public domain when the rule changes and sanctions had not been agreed by the EIHA Director responsible as per published Rules of Competition.

EIHA Chairman Ken Taggart will be talking with representatives of the EPIHL owners this weekend to gather all information before making a final decision on the matters at hand.

This decision will be published early next week. The EIHA will make no further statement on the matter until then.
