NEWS: latest NIHL discipline update

The National Ice Hockey League (NIHL) disciplinary panel have issued three further suspensions, arising from the NIHL S2 Cup Finals weekend in Cardiff last weekend.

Swindon’s Luke Merrick was assessed a Match penalty for abuse of official, while team mate Stuart Widdows picked up a Match for an obscene gesture.  Both players are suspended for one match with five penalty points on their record.

Cardiff Fire goalie Joe Myers received a Match penalty for slashing in the same game.  He is suspended for two games with five penalty points added to his record.
