The English Ice Hockey Association has administered ice hockey in England since 1982. In that time the number of teams has risen from 60 to 298 (plus 19 elite teams). There are currently 33 affiliated clubs and this year there are over 8000 licensed players, officials and coaches.
The EIHA is currently managed by an Executive Committee consisting of Chairman - Ken Taggart, Secretary - Irene Jones, Treasurer Neville Moralee, Bob Wilkinson, Geoff Hemmerman, Rob Laidler and David Hurn.
Malcolm Preen is the EIHA webmaster and Mohammed Ashraff is the IT manager.
League Management Committees oversee the day to day running of each of the sections of the association which are : EPIHL, ENIHL, Women, Recreational, Juniors (Under 18, Under 16, Under 14, Under 12 and Under 10).

Reporting to the EIHA board, their role will be to oversee the EIHA's Education and Development Programme, and support all the initiatives of the EIHA pertaining to the development of ice hockey. This is a voluntary post, but out-of-pocket expenses are payable. Please send expressions of interest with c.v. to by 3rd August 2008. Also wanted: coaches to train as Instructors on coaching courses and workshops. Should be qualified to at least EIHA Level 2 or equivalent.
