Following the successful combined JLMC/ENTP Goalie camp last February, the ENTP Head Goalie Coach Euan King is looking to establish a network and support structure for net minders who are active within the England national Team Programme. Euan is hoping to appoint up to four Assistant Coaches to the England Goalie Programme in order to provide continuity and coaching cover as well as succession planning as the programme evolves to include more collaboration with Conference and the JLMC.
The recent JLMC Development Event in Sheffield had thirteen net minders in attendance which was an unprecedented level of participation by goalies and with the progress being made by ENTP Head Coach Ben Pitchley’s staff, the expansion of net minding is seen as being a major part of the re-structuring on the England programme.
With the ENTP Selection and Development Camp taking place in Deeside next weekend King is keen to encourage any coach with a particular interest in net minding to put themselves forward by making an application to join the England Programme.
The deadline for applications is 9am Wednesday 16 August and interviews will take place at Deeside during the ENTP camp across August 18-19-20.
